Award-winning photographer Andrew James has over 30 years’ experience as a photographer and journalist, including over a decade as editor-in-chief of Practical Photography magazine.
His decades of magazine work means he has experience of a wide range of shooting styles and techniques, from landscapes to portraits, from wildlife to studio photography.
He has led numerous photo expeditions to Africa, Cuba, Antarctica, Arctic, Iceland, France, Madagascar and numerous other places.
He encourages clients to develop their own style and to get creative with light and composition and his focus is always on his clients and supporting their photography rather than building his own portfolio.
During trips he offers personal one-to-one advice, from capturing the shot to assisting with post processing images in Lightroom.
